Unity

1. Definition
1. 1828: The state of being one; oneness. Unity may consist of a simple substance or existing being, as the soul; but usually it consists in a close junction of particles or parts, constituting a body detached from other bodies. Unity is a thing undivided itself, but separate from every other thing.

1. Unity is a state of being. It comes about by a group joining together for the cause of aiding each other. When you are unified you become a whole and have no interior problems. When one is united, there is no place for Satan.

1. Unity is brought to pass by reaching out to others who are weaker and need our love. Someone once said that you are put in people’s ways because you can love them. If you don’t, sometimes it can be the thing that breaks them. Then you will be held accountable for them in the end.

1. Unity is a commandment from God! In modern definitions Unity is also referred to as Harmony.
4. Personal Definition

Unity is to be one whole. everything else is blocked out and the word “they” becomes “we”. As we strive towards unity God will bless us. If you strive towards that Unity you will be blessed more than you can understand.
